Since I can remember music has always been something that resonates with me and what I am feeling at any particular time. I think I spend something like 70 to 80 percent of my waking time with music playing in one form or another. God knows there are times at work where if I was unable to listen to music I would probably lobotomize myself with a spoon or whatever other kitchen utensil was handy.

Then there are the times over the years where my life has happened to suck beyond the telling for whatever reason. During these times music has always been either a source of comfort or something that has allowed me to process whatever I've been feeling at the time. To this day there are scores of songs that when I listen to them, I am thrown back into whatever strong emotions or memories that are associated with that song or album. This is such a fundamental part of how I relate to music that I don't think it will ever fade away. I would never want it to fade away.

Whether I'm sad or angry or happy or just plain bored, music has always enriched my life. So to end this post I would like to provide a link to a song which has a special place in my heart, being one that I listened to frequently before and after the death of my Grandmother.

The song is called Into Eternity by Thousand Needles In Red.
Whether he took offense at the Metro establishment specifically or just at the world in general I cannot say. What I can say however is that what could have been a very boring wait for my train turned into a somewhat bemusing fourteen minutes in which I heard every swear word known to man. And here I was under the impression that Metro didn't provide entertainment free of charge! This is truly the epitome of what a public transport service should aspire to be...Jonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14538624679466700332noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5871671547873032827.post-60031016703807534892011-12-27T02:08:00.000+11:002011-12-27T02:15:28.118+11:00First random post...So my friend is bugging me to make a first post even though I just created this thing like 5 minutes ago and really have no idea what to put up onto it. So something random...

...well the only random thing that I can think of right now happened a few months ago in the city. So I'm walking down Swanston St to meet a friend and as I'm doing so I suddenly stop and do a one eighty as I'm pretty dam sure I just saw a little Asian man dressed in full ninja costume doing magic. Let me just reiterate that, a NINJA DOING MAGIC TRICKS. Not just magic tricks but good magic tricks! That guy was working the crowd like no ones business. Suffice to say I was totally late meeting up with my friend.

Well that's my first post and I'm sticking to it!
